What are you going to do?
As a QESH Employee you are responsible for drawing up and keeping up to date quality and safety procedures, in such a way that the set customer and legal requirements and regulations, specifications and certification requirements are met. You support the production location by making analyses, quality measurements, reporting deviations and keeping the manuals up to date. You work together with your QC colleague at the location and the QA and HSE Central colleagues, the process managers and managers within production, and you also have regular contact and consultation with the central quality department within Biscuit International. You are also responsible for:
HSE
- Point of contact and advice to employees, plant management and collaboration with the Works Council regarding working conditions.
- Formulating, implementing, executing and updating the safety, occupational health and safety and environmental policy in consultation with the HSE Officer.
- Drawing up procedures and instructions, providing information and education in the context of safety.
- Follow-up of the RI&E.
- Carrying out safety rounds and their follow-up.
- Support in carrying out incident investigations with the 8D method.
QA
- Compliance with HACCP, BRC, IFS and company regulations.
- Continuously optimizing processes and working methods; Helping to ensure that production processes run according to established procedures and work instructions.
- Ensuring the distribution of documentation from the manuals, procedures and work instructions.
- Keeping the local manual and related documentation up to date.
- Submitting solutions and corrections that are not in line with the central manual to the quality system manager.
- Planning and conducting internal audits; checking the working methods followed in practice against established procedures and work instructions by conducting interviews with employees, checking registrations and own observations.
- Supervision of external audits at the production location.
- Recording any observed deviations in so-called deviation notes.
- Analyzing quality measurements and identifying and discussing trend deviations.
- Analyze complaints received and draw up improvement management measures/corrective measures with the responsible manager, in order to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure reporting and feedback regarding complaints handled to the central quality department.
- Maintaining the pest control logbook, as well as being the internal and external point of contact for this service.
- Reporting deviations with regard to internal and external cleaning, in addition to the internal and external point of contact for this service.
What do we ask?
- At least a completed MBO education with a number of years of relevant experience at an (international) company; preferably food industry
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Can work independently in a rapidly changing international environment
- Personal characteristics: accurate, committed, driven, proactive and communicative skills
- Can communicate in English
- Living in the Rucphen or Dordrecht area.
