What are you going to do?
As a QA employee you provide customers with the correct information, including by filling customer portals. You also manage specifications of raw materials, packaging materials and end products and you contribute to the development of new packaging, all in such a way that the set customer requirements and legal requirements are met. You do this for the entire Biscuit International Netherlands organization and for all customers of this organization. In this position you have frequent contact within and outside the organization (with the production locations, commerce, R&D, (foreign) sister companies, suppliers and customers) and you work directly with your colleagues from the central quality departments in Tilburg and Broek op Langedijk.
- Assessing and approving new raw materials and suppliers;
- Ensuring label compliance with EU legislation and customer-specific requirements;
- Being and staying informed of developments regarding legal requirements and standards regarding food safety;
- Setting up and reporting/feedback of quality controls and analyses;
- Determining the impact of recipe changes on end product specifications;
- Drawing up, managing, keeping up to date and developing specifications for raw materials, end products, packaging materials and purchasing products and the relevant (quality) systems;
- The timely response to quality-related questions, both internally and externally.

For this position, Biscuit International Netherlands is looking for an enthusiastic, socially skilled and results-oriented candidate, who functions well in a hands-on environment.
You also recognize yourself in the profile below :
- HBO working and thinking level, with – preferably – 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Training in the field of HAS Food Technology or comparable;
- Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
- Knowledge of the English language is a must, German and/or French is an advantage;
- Knowledge of (labelling) laws and regulations;
- You are available for 36 hours per week;
- You are preferably available at short notice.
