Les responsabilités clés de notre nouveau collègue
Within the Biscuit International purchasing team, and under the responsibility of a packaging manager, you will work on an international scope with the following responsibilities :
– Coordinating Packaging development projects :
> to support the Purchase department in tender implementation and change of suppliers
> for new products : the packaging Engineer will create packaging solutions that help drive retail sales and support new product innovation.
> for existing products the packaging engineer will collaborate with the manufacturing plants to optimize existing packaging.
– Lead cost savings initiatives by working collaboratively with purchase, vendors, supply chain and manufacturing plants
– Lead sustainability initiatives by working collaboratively Manufacturing, Marketing and NPD.
– Ensure project success by keeping projects on-schedule through strong communication while evaluating technical data.
– Determine packaging material specifications that maintain appropriate product shelf-life integrity, while minimizing cost, run trials and follow implementation until the launch.
– Conduct value analysis and cost reduction activities on packaging materials and labor requirements.
– Provide support to Manufacturing during new product-packaging qualifications and start-ups.
– Support investigation and analysis of packaging failures and develop/implement corrective actions accordingly.
– Responsible for detailed documentation of technical and die cut data to ensure successful product packaging commercialization.
Travels for supplier and plant visit are required for the mission and will be operated accordingly to the projects needs.

What we look for ?
– Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering,
– 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, or within a packaging industry.
– Fluent English
– Good communication skills
– Project management
– Autonomy
