Our new colleague’s key responsibilities

As Export Quality & Regulatory Manager within the Sales organization for Rest of the World (ROW), you will be instrumental in applying and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements for our export products and customers outside the EU. You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a compliant export process while providing guidance on regulatory changes. In addition, you will collaborate closely with sales teams and both local and central quality teams to ensure that all production facilities remain informed of the latest requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date expertise in export regulations and food safety standards for both established and emerging markets outside the EU. You will serve as the subject matter expert, consistently staying informed of the latest regulatory developments.
  • Advising and supporting Sales colleagues and internal teams in implementing regulatory requirements, ensuring that new regulations are adopted and integrated efficiently.
  • Actively engaging with production locations to ensure full compliance with local specifications and customer requirements. You will serve as the focal point for ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.
  • Monitoring compliance with export regulations during the sale of our products to international clients, and, where necessary, promptly coordinating corrective action plans to address deviations.
  • Proactively tracking changes in regulations and providing timely guidance to management on necessary adjustments to facilitate continued international growth.
  • Supporting and facilitating both internal and external audits and inspections to ensure that the company consistently meets the highest quality standards.

Our new colleague’s background

We are seeking a motivated professional with a strong background in regulatory affairs and quality management. You have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with various teams to ensure compliance with complex export regulations. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A proven higher vocational education (HBO) level in a technical field;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the food industry;
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including FDA regulations, ISO standards, and export licensing procedures for food products outside the EU;
  • Experience in developing and managing compliance documentation and quality management systems;
  • Exceptional communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization;
  • A hands-on approach combined with excellent organizational abilities;
  • Willingness to travel to production sites, with flexibility in working arrangements.
